The one with Azul only worked for me because it fell back to my system Java. Can you check that? Right click->Show Package contents and look for java/macos/ should have zulu8.48… The error is indicates that the JRE that should be in the bundle isn’t being found. That same download worked for me last night… (MBPro M1, macOS 12.2.1). I seem to be able to make the older release run from anywhere, including my system applications directory.
